    Led decision-support design for VHA HIT modernization, translating human-factors research into multi-perspective clinical journeys and a reusable knowledge system to support judgment, coordination, and future-state planning.
  • Accessibility and usability engineering in government platforms
    Led strategy, accessibility and usability engineering for the modernization of ClinicalTrials.gov, shaping stakeholder engagement, regulatory workflows, and system design for a national research platform serving millions of users.
  • Human-AI interaction in enterprise tools
    Led sustained alert-fatigue reduction and decision-support design for VMware Carbon Black, improving triage, collaboration, and human–AI alignment for SOC teams operating under pressure.

Writing & Ongoing Work

I am completing Book 1 in a two-book series on designing AI systems that preserve human judgment, learning, and expertise under automation. The first volume examines how decision-support tools, automation, and AI-enabled workflows reshape how people think, defer, and learn over time—and how design choices can either erode or strengthen human capability in high-consequence environments.
