I approach certification as a form of structured learning rather than résumé signaling. My certifications span design, research, accessibility, analytics, and domain-specific systems because I study both the craft of human-centered design and the environments in which it is applied.
In complex or regulated domains, design quality depends on understanding how work is actually done—by clinicians, analysts, operators, and decision-makers—not just on applying generic UX methods. I pursue training that deepens that understanding, strengthens my technical fluency, and keeps my practice grounded in how systems function over time.
This breadth reflects sustained study, not role-hopping, and supports my work in high-consequence environments where surface-level familiarity is not sufficient.
